Which of you would say you make enough money?

Lottery story – possibly apocryphal: The first million dollar lotteries started in the mid 60's. Winners received $50,000 a year for 20 years. A survey followed up with the early winners, 25 or 30 years later. They were all broke.

Does God promise to make you wealthy? Was Jesus wealthy?

“Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” (Mt 8:20, NIV)

Does God promise to make you wealthy if you tithe? Did Paul tithe? John?
